An Altar’d State White Dress Story
White Dresses. Not just for a bride anymore. Summertime is now notorious for a cute white dress to keep you cooled off when the heat is on! Altar’d State is full of the cutest white dresses around! I feature a Flowy (just above knee) Hipster Dress, Button Down Jean Tight Dress and a Long Bohemian Dress that could double as a Wedding Dress! I took all these dresses to the middle of the hot field and tested them out! Most passed the test, but I found myself loving the Flowy Hipster Dress, and have already worn it to an Engagement (congrats to my Brother and future SIL) and to an All Girls Dinner at Hampton Social. It’s so comfy, and you can literally throw it on with flats, heels or boots. If you haven’t gathered from me, I live for comfort! Something my Bopchie (Grandma in Polish) instilled in me, she always wanted everyone to be classy, comfy and cozy all at the same time! So like her, I try to find outfits or decor that can add a little comfort to the room.
The names of each item I’m wearing from Altar’d State is:
Benson Denim Dress. All button up denim white dress. Fits true to size.
Poise Dress. Easy Flowy Dress pairs well with a hipster hat and any type of shoe! Fits true to size. I wore it with the Josephine Hat.
Long Lace Versatile Nallah Dress, would make a perfect wedding day dress! Fits true to size.
Altar’d State a fashionable place for the faithful crowd to shop at! You can always be guaranteed to be uplifted when shopping there. Altar’d State is always in my top five go-to stores I shop at.
I have each of these outfits (except the Nallah Dress linked up to my LIKETOKNOW.IT App).

Holland Cooper x LC
It all started with me commenting on a beautiful photo with Holland Cooper clothing and they reached out that same day to collab! Of course I said yes. How could I not?! Holland Cooper is a brand based out of London England and oozes with elegance. I’ve admired their clothing from afar and watched other influencers represent their brand. I am so humbled they reached out and made it happen!
My photography team over at Velvet Antler and I hit the streets of Nashville. I strutted my stuff in these rich fabrics and accessories while my photographer beautifully dodged cars like a sweet ballet scene.
The first thing I was impressed by, was the packaging. So classic and chic. Every piece I took out of the Green and Gold Boxes was perfectly packaged and arranged in its own box.
The outfits and sizes I wore were:
Biker Jean denim - 6
Classic Belt tan - S
Safari Shorts khaki green - 6
Silk Scarf - Racing green
Crew Tee ice marl - XS Crew tee white - XS
Sunglasses-Black
Studio Cap Studio jogger black - XS
Studio Loose Vest - S
The quality and designs in every piece effortlessly paired so well together I barely had to style anything by myself. I would highly recommend this clothing brand and I am honored to be able to represent and blog it. I can not wait to share more clothing by this luxurious brand! Visit their website at Holland Cooper to find all outfits!

All the Pastels for Altar’d State Collab
It’s June, my second month to feature Altar’d State on the blog! Cute Dresses and Shorts Season! For the Summer months, I gravitate towards lighter colors and easy to wear outfits. I feel like during summer there are so many different things happening, always on the go, friends coming and going, plans being broken and made last minute. I always make sure to do some summer specific shopping so I have the easiest outfits on hand, that way I can grab and go, like a quick snack!
The first outfit I put together reminded me of a scene out of Clueless, I think it’s because all of Cher’s outfits were so matchy matchy (Ode to Mona May, the brilliant costume designer behind the movie Clueless). I can not believe Skorts are back, and I’m still on the fence about them after all these years. The tank top is the Adeline Tank and the bottoms are the Shiloh Skort in blue. I’m not gonna lie, once this outfit was on, I loved shooting in it and walking around like I belonged. Paired with Brynee Sandals.
Second outfit was a soft and sweet “Raina Romper”. I love the ruffles and tie in the back, it’s so girly, perfect for a day out at the vineyards. The pink is not too pink, more of a pastel pink, which I can handle. I’m usually not a fan of pink, however, my husband loves me in pink, so compromise. I paired it with a signature L gold dipped “Burst Tag Monogram Necklace” from Altar’d State and wore the “Brynee Sandals” with this romper. (Necklace comes in all letters).
Third outfit, white “Fare Denim” shorts and pastel green “Hart Bodysuit”. White shorts for summer are a must have, and the last time I was on the Altar’d State website browsing, these shorts were on sale! These are the perfect length short, modest yet not too long. I also love a button fly. The bodysuit was super soft and comfy. Paired with studded “Desi Sandals”. Burst Tag Monogram Necklace.
Fourth outfit, GO-TO CLBD! Comfy-Little-Black-Dress. Listen, I live live for comfort in everything I do. I think I seek comfort because I’ve modeled since I was a teenager, constantly uncomfortable all day on set wearing anything but my own clothes. So when I’d come back to the hotel or my home, all I wanted to do was put on a big old dad tee shirt, sweats and sit on the couch with a blanket. I think this is true with any job that you’re at all day, and have to be “on”...all you want is some form comfort, whether it’s a bath, food, wine or some binge watching (or all of it). My form of comfort is in what I wear and in the way I decorate. Example, my bedroom has to be extra comfy and inviting-my living room must have throw blankets on the arms of couches and ready for lounging. So on my non-work days, I seek classy yet comfortable clothes. And this dress, has been my GO-TO the last few weekends my husband suddenly wants to go out. I just throw it on, pair it with a low heel and wand a couple curls in my hair and I’m good to go!
I did pair this dress with a hat, The “Josephine Hat” in Bone, I will say it is an adorable hat, but it was too big for my head. I’d like to think my head is average size..but definitely too big for me and I believe it is a one size deal. Looked cute for pictures though! Burst Tag Monogram Necklace. Look also Paired with Desi Sandals (on sale now).
Shout out to Amelia’s Flower Truck for letting us use their spot for pictures and the trendy 12 South Area in Nashville for lending it’s perfect color pallet for our pastel looks from Altar’d State!

Altar’d State Collab
Well it’s that season, popsicles melting down tiny fingers, moms wiping tears of joy as their child crosses the stage to graduate, and the sweet smell of fresh cut grass breezes through the screen door as we laugh over lemonade. It is summer! What better time to break out all the cute outfits from Altar’d State! I’ll be sharing my top MUST HAVES over the next 3 Months! For May, I’m featuring some of the softest pants, tops and shorts from their New AS Revival Activewear Collection!
Here is what I personally picked out and wore from their new summer collection:
For a short, I chose the Altar'd State Revival Tempo Shorts in Blue, which were so soft and comfortable, perfect for walking or playing tennis.
For an active pant, I chose the silky smooth Altar’d State Spring Forward Revival Legging, perfect for yoga in the park!
For tops to mix and match, I chose Altar’d State Run It Tank, which is super soft, definitely a more delicate fabric and I would suggest a sports bra for extra coverage.
The sports bra/top I chose was Altar’d State Mesh Revival Top, which had great coverage, I felt comfortable wearing it by itself or pairing it with a looser shirt.
Last but not least, I paired the Altar’d State Revival Inspire Hoodie with both outfits, it is light and heavy at the same time, super soft and makes the outfit even cuter without getting overheated in the summer months!
What I love about shopping at Altar’d State, is that you can step inside or online and find almost anything you were in search for. This is a store and brand that one can feel at ease when representing quality styles and fabrics with a modest modern twist! Hope you enjoyed these finds, I’ll be posting my June selections in a few weeks, stay tuned! Xx
Sustainable Swimwear
When I’m buying swimwear I usually just want the best cut that fits my body type without completely depressing myself. I normally don’t think about wearing recycled fishing nets and literal trash BUT lately I’ve been trying to live a little cleaner, yet balanced, so I went on a little search for sustainable swimsuits. I found a variety of labels trying to do their best to manufacture cleaner products, striving for better work environments and that give back. Here are my Top 5 Favorites:
1. Dippin’ Daisy’s: Women founded company based out of Los Angeles, California. 95% of their swimsuits are made from recycled nylon, and most of that recycled nylon comes from previous consumer’s that recycle their old swimsuits back into the company. They also feature biodegradable packaging.
2. RUBY MOON: This sustainable and vegan brand gives 100% of profits go to loans to empower women entrepreneurs in 11+ countries! The brand uses recycled ocean plastics and all of their dyes are PETA-approved vegan, and OEKO-Tex certified. Based in the UK.
3. Peony Swimwear: A family-run brand that focuses on conscious focus and sustainability across its designs. The current goal for the company is to be completely sustainable by the end of 2021. Peony creates swimwear pieces that contain a high percentage of ECONYL®, regenerated nylon yarn created from the ocean, and landfill nylon waste. Their sustainability is also seen in it’s packaging as it is made from plant-based materials. Based in Australia.
4. Evarae: The company is a luxury brand that focuses on design, fit and a glamorous feel without giving up their sustainable vision. For each order placed online, a tree is planted, and 2% of all online sales are donated to different charities that rotate every month. Based in UK.
5. Arrow+Phoenix: This company focuses on a sustainably sexy yet comfortable design’s made for a variety of body types. The company is Black Owned and Women Run! They have a smaller presence on social media, but are definitely doing big things. Big things for the environment and empowering women of all shades and sizes. Quoting the owner, Kayla Bell, “Arrow+Pheonix is SO much bigger than bikini’s, it’s about aiming high, soaring to new heights and empowering the next person to do the same despite where you come from or what you’ve been through”. All pieces are made from recycled fabric. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada and Santa Monica, California.
Honorable Mention: Skatie Swim! All Swim and Activewear is made from recycled plastic’s they find from the Ocean. Based in Los Angeles, California.
Because I live more balanced life and not fully vegan, organic or sustainable, I will share one label that is not sustainable, but pushing confidence and empowerment in all body shapes and sizes, it is Haute Swimwear. Affordable and based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Check out my Codes Section for a 15% Discount on Haute-Swimwear!
I hope you enjoyed my findings! I actually found more sustainable brands then I set out to find-this makes me happy that more brands are choosing a more ethical and sustainable practices despite it costing them more money, time and research for them. I always try to keep this in mind when I look at the price tag.
Toxin Free Beauty
I have been on a Clean Beauty search for the past year. Have you ever felt like you eat and live a relatively healthy lifestyle, but your skin routine has you feeling guilty everytime you wash your face and apply creams and makeup? For the past six months I have been integrating Crunchi products in my routine. I have loved them so much, I started buying their makeup for my face, like cover up and foundation. They aren’t fully organic or vegan, but definitely toxin free and always coming out with new products or revamping old ingredients. Because Crunchi does not have tons of eyeshadows and lipglosses in every color, I continued my search for more clean products so I could have a variety. I found a company out of Austraila, called Mellow Cosmetics, that focuses on eyeshadow’s, blushes, bronzer’s, lip glosses, eyeliners and some brow enhancer’s. I decided to give them a try. From Mellow Cosmetics, I tried and loved the matte lip gloss in Tehran. The eyeshadow pallate I tried was Treasure Chest, the colors I have been using from that pallate have added that extra Spring feeling to my makeup. I would like to try more products by Mellow Cosmetics to see if the products are consistent with blending and innovation. I need to try more colors of their lipglosses as well, but for now, I will say they were a good company to add to my makeup bag! This does not end my search on clean beauty as I am always testing out new clean beauty products as more come to market or I am suggested certain brands from friends.
I do have a code for Mellow Cosmetics in my “Codes” section. I am not sponsered by Crunchi nor recieve any benefit financially by talking about them, I would just benefit personally if you tried them out and loved their products as much as I have been!
The products I have been using from Crunchi for the past six months are: Beautifully Flawless Foundation, Smart Primer, Daylight Facial Cream, Clarilight Essence, My Alibi Concealer, Cheekmate Blush, Highlighter, Solarise Bronzer, Highliner, Eyeshadow in Champagne, Hydrogloss lipgloss.
